aka THE WILDBUNCH kommen ursprünglich aus den goldenen 90ern des Underground Hip Hop. Inspiriert von Oldschool bis Trueschool Raps und Breaks haben sich die Beiden Beat für Beat an 4 to the Floor Tanzmusik herangetastet. Minimales Geklicker und Gefrickel haben sie dabei aber mal eben galant übersprungen: „Flavour in your ear“ ist hier die Punchline und Ethno, Soul und Funk die Basis. Alles aber immer mit der dringend nötigen deepness!

alles neu macht der… juni! dabbltrabbl laden ein, zu alpenländischen spezialitäten. rivella und almdudler, schweiz und österreich sind am start, hoch die tassen – münchen macht den host und packt die lederhosen aus.

am runden tisch wird aufgefahren, am runden teller gedreht, “round table knights” ist am start und zeigt, dass die schweiz ganz oben mitspielt im business.

unterstützung kommt aus wien von “colt” dem initiatior  des sympatischen susiklubs, der mittlerweile weit über wiens grenzen bekannt ist und beweist, das gute parties abseits vom kommerziellen rave stattfinden und das motto “klein aber fein” oftmals den unterschied ausmacht.

Everyone is unique in his or her own way – sure. And everyone
can be an artist in this era of unlimited possibilities – at
least virtually.
But there is that certain something that nobody can acquire
– neither with money nor with effort, that natural charisma
or a certain aura.
Whatever it maybe the Round Table Knights have it and with
the wind at their backs it‘s taken them on a ten year
journey from the Swiss province to the high plateaus of
contemporary dance music where they have recently
pitched their tents in the camps of Mowgli’s ‚Deadfish‘ label
and Jesse Rose’s ‚Made To Play‘ records in preparation
for the next climb.

releaste doch david keno vor kurzem die erste platte auf rivas neuem label “snatch” und wird nicht erst seit gestern in vielen foren und blogs als DER nächste große houseproduzent und dj gefeiert.
robosonic hatten sie alle schon, david keno wie auch riva starr, wenn die jungs vom berlin kreuzberg institut monatlich zu ihrer radioshow einladen. was da an internationalalen und nationalen künstlern aufgefahren wird kann sich sehen und vor allem hören lassen.
club und festivalerprobt werden die drei freunde aus der hauptstadt dem crux ordentlich einheizen…. und die crackhuren machen mit!!!

DAVID KENO

Swiss born David Keno began his musical life learning classical instruments such as guitar and drums when he was 12. After playing in various rock bands he discovered his love of electronic music. He bought a drum machine and an old Korg synthesizer and started to experiment. Over the next few years he developed his skills and eventually the guys from the Pocketgame label loved his melodic productions so much that they signed him for his first release: Vernis – Bubble Bath EP which came with a fantastic Trentemoeller remix. From there his career took off. He has released on labels such as I220, Zenit, Meerestief, Karateklub, ELP and provided remixes for Samuel L. Session, G-Man, da Fresh, Robert Drewek, Hugg&Pepp, DK8 and even 80ies heroes Trans-X who wanted a remix for their “living on video” that came out on ZYX Music. The next step in his career was to launch his own label and in January 2007 Keno Records 01 was released with huge success. “Liquid” went on to be found in the playlists of many DJs. In David Keno’s DJ sets or also as a Livect his musical range goes from minimal techno to house. Very floor-oriented but often with a certain melodic touch. Maybe these are his roots from the 80ies shining through.

ROBOSONIC

In 2010 the charismatic Berlin-based DJ & producer team ROBOSONIC upgrade its environment with a brand new operating system.

In the past years, ROBOSONIC aka Sacha and Cord have been building a reputation for producing multidimensional electronic music with their highly acclaimed debut album “Sturm und Drang” [accompanied by a series of 12” vinyl], released on their own baby label DISKOMAFIA in November 2007.
Tracks by ROBOSONIC have since been remixed by stars like Oliver Koletzki [Cocoon, Stil vor Talent] & Florian Meindl [Trapez, Flash], Jesse Rose [Made To Play], Christopher Just [Gigolo, Kitsuné], Deadset [Frontroom] or Alexander Robotnick and played by a long list of famous DJ names.

Besides their productions, ROBOSONIC are notorious for their DJ performances. The boys have proven that their music is equally comfortable in the club, on penthouse parties or the radio, at alternative festivals and illegal raves, fashion shows and obscure private venues from Berlin to Milano, New York to Buenos Aires, Sydney to San Francisco or simply while you are jogging in the Tiergarten.
For more than a year, ROBOSONIC have split to represent in Berlin and Buenos Aires and reunited in glossy Miami at the Winter Music Conference in 2008.

Riva Starr is a name that should be very familiar to anyone with an interest in modern house music. Having shot to the top after a string of head turning releases and remixes on some of the most talked about labels, Riva Starr couldn’t be hotter right now. What’s quite remarkable though is how quickly Stefano Miele, aka Riva Starr has established himself so prominently on a DJ/producer circuit that’s notoriously difficult to break into.
With a love of reinventing any music that inspires him, Stef created the term “Snatch!” as a way of describing his bootleg remix style of snatching/pick pocketing other music styles for his own. It’s also a play on words with the type of folk/Balkan/rock music he draws inspiration from, often carrying that gypsy spirit. Having given away a number of widely praised and blogged Snatch! mixes online (his recent remix of ‘The End’ by The Doors has well over 10,000 downloads on Discobelle alone), it wasn’t too long before some of them found their way into the DJ sets of some of the biggest names on the circuit.
Two of those DJ’s were Jesse Rose and Claude VonStroke, who both approached Stef for official releases on their labels after witnessing the amazing crowd reaction for his Snatch! remixes, since then there’s been no looking back. Having doted up his first two releases for Claude’s ‘Dirtybird’ and Jesse’s ‘Front Room’ in 2007, he followed these up with another two for them in 2008. As well as remixing the likes of The Gossip, Derrick Carter, KC Flight and Fatboy Slim and seeing his DJ bookings go through the roof (if you want Stef to play at your club, you’ll currently be waiting 6 months), he’s managed to rewrite the rules on how to establish yourself as an International DJ/producer.
Like all the great names in dance music the Riva Starr sound is very distinctive, with fans as wide-ranging as Tiesto, Carl Cox, Ricardo Villalobos and Annie Mac, he manages to make high quality accessible house music that unites many different styles and DJ’s. You’ll hear throughout his upcoming album “If Life Gives You Lemons, Make Lemonade” out on Made to Play January 2010, but mainly on the first single ‘I Was Drunk’, ‘Bulgarian Chicks’ and ‘Black Cat, White Cat’, that Stef draws inspiration from the Balkan music scene, an area of music that’s always been a personal interest.
